[Software description] This software is TeraStation IX Series Firmware Update Utility to update unit firmware to Ver.1.66. If your unit firmware is Ver.1.66 or later version, you do not have to use this utility. * If the TeraStation became EM Mode, firmware update might recover the unit. [How to confirm firmware version] Select TeraStation from iSCSI HDD Connection Tool utility search screen. The firmware version is displayed right and bottom corner in the status screen. [Caution] - Do not turn the unit off until complete messages appear. It might takes several minutes in the case. - Multiple network adapter environment can not search for target TeraStation. In this case, please use another computer that has only one network adapter for firmware update. - The USB hard disk is not mounted automatically after firmware update. In this case, please perform unplug operation then plug it again for detection. - When iSCSI connection is established, please verify no access is performed or shutting down PC before firmware update. Especially dynamic volume feature is used, dynamic volume is broken or restructuring volume is requested. In this case, please stop server system and update firmware from another PC. - It may take a long time to search TeraStation if you are dividing TeraStation to many volumes and connecting them to a PC. It will take about 20 minutes to perform a search from a computer which is connected to 32 volumes. (Search time may vary depends on your PC and its environment). The search is continuing.
