IMPORTANT NOTICE
for Customers using the Network-USB Navigator on MacOS X 10.11 El Capitan
Thank you for your continuous loyalty to the Buffalo products.
Buffalo has identified recently that if the Network-USB Navigator is installed on the PC, the OS may not work properly when the OS is upgraded to Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Note: It works in safe mode.

Please uninstall the Network-USB Navigator in advance before updating the OS to Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan. Also, when installing the Network-USB Navigator to the PC running Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan,
the OS may not work, so do not install it.
Please refer to the following steps for recovery work, if the OS doesn't work.

1. Start up in safe mode.
1-1 Start (or restart) your Mac.
1-2 Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key.
1-3 Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo appears on the screen.
1-4 Wait for a minute to reach the login screen or your desktop. It might take longer than usual.
 Note: Sometimes there will be the disturbance on a screen.
1-5 After the login screen is displayed, you will see "Safe Boot" in the upper-right corner of the screen.
1-6 Log in as normal.

Note: If your Mac didn't start up after updating the OS, it will restart updating at this point.
Follow the instructions and progress the setting until the desktop screen is displayed.
 
2. Uninstall the Network-USB Navigator.
2-1 Open a Safari window and download the file "Network-USB Navigator Uninstaller" from the link below.

2-2 Double-click the downloaded file.

2-3 Double-click "Network USB Navigator Uninstaller".

2-4 Click [Open].

2-5 Click [Yes].

2-6 Enter the password used for login if required.

2-7 When the screen below is displayed, click [Restart] and confirm if your Mac starts up normally.

Note: The Network-USB Navigator will not support Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
